PURPOSE:To enable to perform a fine and detailed control by smoothly increasing an accelerating current as well as to eliminate vibrations for the subject DC motor by a method wherein a piece of striking pulse is added at the boundary point of a low-speed striking region and a high-speed striking region when an accelerative control is performed by a forward converting operation mode. CONSTITUTION:The DC motor is driven through a thyristor three-phase antiparallel inverters and, at the same time, using the driving device with which the striking phase of each thyristor is controlled in digital system, the striking pulse generating region IAR is splitted into a high-speed striking region T2 having the striking angle alpha of 0 deg.-60 deg., a low striking region T3 having the striking angle alpha of 60 deg.-120 deg., and a reverse convertion striking region T1 having the striking angle alpha of 120 deg.-180 deg.. Then, the DC motor is accelerated by shifting the timing of striking from the low- speed controlling region T3 to the high-speed striking region T2 and a current Ia is smoothly increased in such manner that one more striking pulse PUV is added to a striking pulse SPV at the point of time of movement of boundary from the region T3 to the region T2. |
