PURPOSE:To diagnose a relay controller from a network controller automatically while being in on-line service, by providing a folding circuit at a line controlling section in advance. CONSTITUTION:A folding circuit 74 is provided between a communication line controlling unit reception section 72 of a line controlling section and a communication line controlling unit transmission section. The inquiry message from a network controller 1 is identified at a line common controlling section 71 and reported to a central controlling section 75. The section 71 picks up a data relating to an inquiry message information from a main storage section 76 through the instruction of a central controlling section 75 and transmits it each communication line controlling unit transmission section 73, and the collation check with the folded data via the folding circuit 74 is made and the result is reported to the central controlling section 75. The central controlling section 75 takes it as a response message signal and returns it to the network controller 1. Thus, the diagnosis during on-line service of a relay controller 7 can be made. |
