PURPOSE:To suppress the corrosion of a shelf portion by forming a lead-tin alloy layer on the upper surface layer of a grid lug section welding multiple electrode plates with the same polarity in the lug section of the expanded grid made of a lead-calcium alloy. CONSTITUTION:A rolled sheet is formed with a lead-Ca-Sn alloy. A lead-tin alloy foil is pressed to the center section of this rolled sheet and expand- machined to form a grid. On the current collecting lug section 4 of this grid, a lead-tin alloy layer is formed on the upper surface layer 6 of the grid lug section 4' welding multiple electrode plates 1, 2 with the same polarity. The corrosion of a shelf 5 can be suppressed accordingly. |
