PURPOSE:To dispense with a negative pressure source and make a vehicle speed controller applicable to a turbosupercharged engine, by comparing the running speed of a vehicle with a stored value instructed by a set switch, to control a step motor for regulating a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle speed signal produced by a vehicle speed sensor 1 and an F-V conversion circuit 20 is stored in a retention circuit 50 by closing the contact of a relay Ry1 for the time of pressing of a set switch SW2. When the set switch SW2 is opened, a flip-flop FF is set and a relay Ry2 is turned on and an electromagnetic clutch 205 is engaged and a step motor 200 is connected to a throttle valve. In a differential amplifier 60, the actual speed of a vehicle is compared with a stored value. A deviation signal showing the difference between the compared quantities is applied to a step motor drive circuit 100 to actuate the step motor 200. |
