<p>The stage is secured to the enclosing wall of waterway etc, and comprises an oblong body (21) with base (25) and head sections, constructed of steel plates and of rectangular cross-section. The base is anchored to the wall so as to overhang the surface of the water, and on the top of the body are guard rail posts (23) to which boats can be tied up. Means can be secured in the bed of the waterway, in the form of tubes, to guide and adjust the height of the stage head. There can be an adjustable collar on the tube extending downwards from the head, by means of which the distance for which this extends inside the base tube is varied.</p> |
