PURPOSE:To obtain stabilized emulsion fuel which causes no separation before it reaches a combustor, by uniformly dispersing water in the fuel oil by giving an injection impact on the fuel oil and water, or the fuel oil, water and the air and the like. CONSTITUTION:The emulsion fuel producing apparatus 1 consists of an oil tank 2 for storing the fuel oil to which an emulsifier is added, a feed water tank 3 for adding water to the fuel oil, a mixing pump 6, a special nozzle 5, and a fuel tank 4 to reserve the mixed fuel. The emulsion fuel reserved in the fuel tank 4 is fed into a combustor by a transporting pump 7. The special mixing nozzle 5, inserted in the nozzle pipe, is so constructed that it can give an injection impact to a nozzle throat utilizing the dispersion angle of the nozzle. With such a structure, water particles super-minimized can uniformly be dispersed and mixed with the fuel oil, by means that the fuel oil is mixed with the emulsifier by the mixing pump, a predetermined rate of water is added to the oil by the mixing nozzle, and an impact is given to it in an injecting manner. |
