1-R4 6-R1 8-alpha-R2R3N-SO2-NH-ergoline derivs. of formula (I) and their acid addition salts are new. In (I)(R1 is ethyl or n-propyl; R2 is H or 1-3C alkyl; R3 is 1-3C alkyl and R4 is H or methyl). (I) where (a) R1 is ethyl or n-propyl; R2, R3 are methyl and R4 is H or methyl (b) R1 is ethyl or n-propyl- R2, R3 are ethyl and R4 is H; (c) R1 is n-propyl; R2, R3 are ethyl and R4 is methyl and (d) R1 is n-propyl; R2, R4 are H and R3 is methyl. Prolactin secretion inhibitors, used to treat endocrinological troubles due to prolactin secretion (dialy doses of 0.1-1 mg); central dopaminergic receptor stimulants, used as antiparkinson drugs (daily doses of 0.5-10 mg) and antidepressants (daily doses of 1-10 mg). Activity tests are described.
