<p>In a concrete preparation plant, gravel from bulk storage is dispensed onto a conveyor and delivered to a second conveyor on top of a series of storages having a set of dispensing ports discharging onto a conveyor. Gravel from this conveyor is transported along another belt to be mixed in mixing installation with cement from a cement silo. This has addition controllers and dosage channels. Water is added from storage tank to the mixer where the concrete prepared. The different gravel silos contain different qualities of gravel which are selectively used as required to product a particular, pre-determined quality or grade of concrete.</p> |
