The braking system has a valve (11) allowing the pressurised fluid to flow away from the coupling (5) that connects in the front-axle drive when the wheel brake is operated. A detector (2) detects pressure increases in the working brake and controls the valve. The valve has a hydraulic or electrically moved slide (13), which may also be moved manually via a rod (16-18) or by a manual switch located in the slide's electrical circuit. The no-load state of the rear axle is prevented from reducing the braking force.
