Here, Kx, Ky are constants, and Bsx, Bsy are components in the X, Y directions of SN. When the device is rotated with a change of from O to 360 deg., a locus of X, Y becomes an ellipse, SN shifts only the center of an ellipse, and X,Y change as shown in the figure. Hereby, X, Y, are corrected and operated as X'=X-(Xmax+Xmin)/2, Y'=Y-(Ymax+Ymin)/2, thereby obtaining an accurate desired compass direction.
