STATIC CONVERGENCE REGULATOR

PURPOSE:To obtain an economical convergence regulator with sufficient capacity of correction by providing a high permeability magnetic body piece on the external surface of a cathode-ray tube neck section in order to obtain a desired magnetic field distribution for the purpose of correcting a given static convergence. CONSTITUTION:In circular ring shaped static convergence regulator 14 and 15 whose sections hatched with slant lines represent high permeability magnetic body pieces and whose other parts represent nonmagnetic bodies, the 4-pole circular ring 14 has two high permiability magnetic body sections which generate the 4-pole magnetic field and the 6-pole circular ring 15 has three high permeability magnetic body sections which generate the six-pole magnetic field. Both consist of two circular rings so that they are overlapped by two and can be revolved freely of each other. Thus the static convergence can be adjusted by two each 4-pole and 6-pole circular rings which consist of the high permeability magnetic bodies and the cost of the said regulator can be reduced.
