PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic disk having a thin and even magnetic paint film with a sufficient orientation, by applying a spin coating method in which the number of rotations is varied according to the working process during coating, after coating, in the process of orientation, etc. CONSTITUTION:When the number of rotations of a supporter that applies the magnetic coating material reaches a point A, the magnetic coating material is supplied through a nozzle to carry out a spin coating. The paint film is diffused by the centrifugal force with the rotation of a constant speed continued up to a point B. Then the number of rotations is increased to blow off the excessive coating material. Thus a thin and uniform film is formed. After this, a process of orientation is completely carried out in a low speed of rotation by reducing the number of rotations. Then the number of rotations is further reduced to finish all working processes. |
