PURPOSE:To make easy the channel selecting operation, by scanning in receiving bands during channel selection and detecting receptionable stations, detecting broadcast identifying signal included in demodulated output and storing them on classification. CONSTITUTION:When a broadcast classification selecting key 91 is selected, a control section 11 transmits an arbitrary data stored in a memory classification 100 in a memory 10, e.g. data 101 to a tuning voltage generating circuit 6. A tuner 2 starts reception in tuning with the frequency based on this tuning data. The control section interrupts audio in a suitable period and fetches other data belonging to the memory classification 100 and the data obtained through the scanning in the band. The output when all the data are applied to the circuit 6 is discriminated at a reception level discriminating circuit 8, and only when the data is a given level or more, it is stored in a memory device 10 based on the classification of a broadcast classifying and discriminating circuit 7. |
