PURPOSE:To increase the transporting efficiency when returning a bell-type cover by a method wherein the upper and lower lateral stays, the upper surface of the cover and the under surface of the lower tank are formed equal in measurements respectively and a pressure-welded base 8, having tapped holes at the upper and lower lateral stays, is provided. CONSTITUTION:The transformer main body is placed in a container consisting of the bell-type cover 1 and the lower tank 2 and an upper pressure-welded base 7 and a lower pressure-welded base 8, having tapped holes 9 to be used for a lifting purpose when loading the transformer on a freight car, are attached to an upper laterial stay 5 and a lower late-al stay 6. The measurement h1 between the under surface of the lower tank 2 and the under surface of the lower lateral stay 6, and the measurement h2 between the upper surface of the bell-type cover 1 for transportation and the upper section of the upper lateral stay 5 are made equal each other and also said measurements are provided in the same height as the railway platform. Through these procedures, when the bell-type cover to be used for transportation is returned in exchange for the cover to be used for the transformer main body itself, as the on-site assembling materials and the like can be forwarded in the cover by turning it upside down, the process and cost of transportation can be reduced. |
