PURPOSE:To reduce the effect of mechanical vibration due to the disturbance, by providing a driving mechanism to give a horizontal shift to a tone arm base and detecting the horizontal turning speed of the tone arm to then feed it back to the driving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When a detection base 22 has a rotary movement by the eccentricity of a record disk, the voltage is generated at an induction coil 24 and amplified at a driving circuit 29. Thus the current flows to a driving coil 28. As a result, the driving force corresponding to the horizontal turning speed of a tone arm 14 is produced to give a turning a movement to a base 19. When the base 19 turns around a post 21, a horizontal turning bearing 18 of the arm 14 has substantially a horizontal shift. Then a cartridge 12 follows the horizontal shift of a reproducing stylus 11 by the sum of the horizontal turning movement of the arm 14 and the substantially horizontal shift of the bearing 18. At the same time, a damping plate 31 dipped into a viscid liquid 33 shifts according to the turning movement of the base 19 to add the viscid resistance to the vibrating system comprising tension springs 34 and 35 plus the inertia of the base 19. Thus a stable movement is ensured for the tone arm. |
