PURPOSE:To use a subscreen as monitor for VTR, by introducing a playback video signal from a VTR in place a of video signal of a main channel, in interlocking with the playback operation of the VTR. CONSTITUTION:When a playback button 28b of a VTR operation section 28 is depressed during the operation of reception of a conventional television broadcast, a selector of video signal switching circuits 24, 25 is switched to a terminal b in interlocking with the depression and a reproduced video signal at a VTR main body 27 in place of the video signal of the main channel is applied to a main video amplifier circuit 6 via the switching circuit 24. On the other hand, no video signal is inputted to a subvideo amplifying circuit 20, and the picture of another program recorded with a VTR main body 27 is played on the screen of a picture tube 10 and the audio corresponding to this picture is outputted from a speaker 8. |
