<p>PURPOSE:To considerably decrease chip areas by setting a timer time conresponding to data contents, and converting codes according to the controlling of said timer device. CONSTITUTION:When there is a code conversion instruction in a program, the data to be converted in an ROM1 is selected, and the content thereof is stored in an instruction register 3; at the same time, a prescribed time is set in a timer device 5 through a bus line 6. Upon lapse of the prescribed time set there, a program counter 2 is controlled according to an output signal 8, and the counter 2 is stopped of addressing the next address, so that the prescribed program is executed. Thereafter, the counter 2 assumes the content of addressing the next address of the content retreated into a stack register 4 and resets to the original program.</p> |
