<p>The combined shower and W.C. cubicle has the shower basin directly adjoining the W.C. pedestal, so that a user of the latter can use the basin as a foot rest space. This makes the cubicle as compact as possible for installation in old houses in the course of renovation, and ensure that it can be brought through existing doorways. In this case a wash-basin (11) is fitted on the remaining wall (12) of the cuvicle (1) facing the W.C. (3), in such a way that it extends, with the edge towards the user, at least as far as the edge of the shower basin (5) which is underneath, a retainer peg (15) for the hand sprinkler (a) may be fitted above the wash-basin, and there may be a folding curtain (16) hung directly in front of it.</p> |
