PURPOSE:Crystallized sugar is used to collect the raw essence of unripe ''ume'' (Japanese apricot). CONSTITUTION:Fruits of unripe ''ume'' are picked from the trees, washed with water very well and dried by standing them in the shade where winds pass through well for about 24hr. Then, the equal weights of the ume and crystallized sugar are mixed in a vessel and stood for about 1 month to collect the raw essence of unripe ''ume''. |
