PURPOSE:To improve the drying efficiency of a laver drying chamber, by furnishing the chamber with a plurality of vertically arranged intermittently rotating chains having a number of rods for supporting the laver screen frames. CONSTITUTION:The laver screen frame 24 attached with a plurality of laver screens is delivered from the conveyor 16 to the conveyor 17, and transferred to the supporting rod 6 of the upper endless chain 5 which circulates in the drying chamber 1. When the frame 24 is transferred to the turning point (the left end) of the chain by the motion of the endless chain 5, it is delivered through the guide 29 to the fall-preventing conveyor 9, and conveyed in the direction of the arrow (b). At the open end (the right end) of the upper endless conveyor 5, the frame 24 is delivered from the upper chain through the vertically moving chain 11 to the supporting rod 6' of the lower endless chain 5'. After going and returning in the drying chamber 1 in a manner similar to the upper conveyor, the frame 24 slides on a take- up guide 26 and is placed on the conveyor 27. |
