Illumination intensity distribution at solar power input measurement - using light conductor lens with photodiode output integrator

A light conductor lens (4,5) which can be placed over the inlet aperture (1) is connected optically via a light conducting cable (7) to photodiodes which are connected electrically to an electrical measurement circuit. The circuit determines the light intensity by integrating the electrical measurement values measured at individual scan positions and stored in a memory. The lens arrangement consists of one or more measurement heads (4) with a compound optical conductor (5) arrangement-inside each. The fields of view of the measurement heads contain all the heliostats associated with the aperture by virtue of the conductor acceptance angles and the inter conductor axis angles.
