Fouling degree monitoring for degreasing solvent - by measuring rise of boiling temp. of solvent

The degree of fouling of a solvent, used in a plant for degreasing and cleaning workpieces by passing them through the vapour zone of a volatile solvent, is determined by measuring or recording the boiling temperature of the solvent in the heated liquid zone below the vapour zone. A thermometer or a thermoelement with an automatic triggering of a signal can be used to indicate that the max. permissible boiling temperature has been reached. This creates a reliable supervision of the solvent which requires a minimum of maintenance.
