<p>The equipment raises a vehicle to a higher level in e.g. a garage for repair and maintenance. It uses longitudinal telescopic members supported on a triangular frame acting as a pivot. The inner members are hauled along the outer members by winding gear at the upper end, and the whole is tilted into a horizontal position. The device includes stop rollers (47) for the front wheels, each mounted on an inverted U-shaped swing support (48,49). Each telescopic section includes a hollow beam (2) housing a channel (4) with rollers (73) on its sides (13) and hauled by a winding gear. This channel also travels on rollers (12) underneath, and its sides are guided between vertical rollers (72). Both the beam and the channel carry friction layers (21) on their abutting surfaces (19,20).</p> |
