The invention comprises a connecting element for the flexible connection of construction elements which allows the transmission of spring forces and is used, for example, in connecting the longitudinal spring and the scissor-type brace of a pram, but can also be used in other areas such as, for example, the incorporation of a vibrating screen into the oscillatory system. The connecting element consists of a sturdy force transmission part which is designed as a curved bar and of a protective part of flexible and corrosion-resistant material. Both parts are connected to one another in a positive-locking and exchangeable manner, so that the protective part hugs the inner side of the force transmission part. If the force transmission part is designed as a curved bar with a round cross-section, it is expedient to design the protective part as a strip-like element which, on the side facing the curved bar, has webs which flank the said bar.
