The arrangement for making dental casts, as in 3006432, includes a drill (11) supported above a work table (3), against which is clamped a plate (23) to be drilled. This plate is locked in position by clamping elements (40,41) which also act as centering members. Each element has a clamping head (46) with sides (47) sloping outwards and upwards to lock against the upper edge (48) of the plate. These clamps, which can be spaced from a stop (25) between them, can be directly or indirectly pneumatically operated by a locking member (50) below the table. This has a sloping-head piston (51) with a spring (52) behind it, inside a pneumatic cylinder, moving a latch arm (53) with a hooked head outwards towards the base (44) of each locking element.
|
