<p>The penis-supporting implant has a rail stiffened against bending and with a section allowing the distal portion to fold downwards. The rail is a fully closed flexible sleeve of material compatible with the body containing an embedded inlay. The latter comprises a bar stiffening the sleeve to which a set of links are attached to allow folding in one direction only. The row of links comprises metal members (3), each with a tongue fitting in a fork in the next one and joined to it by a pin. Each tongue has two stop faces acting against others between the fork prongs so as to limit the fold angle, one face defining the straight position.</p> |
