<p>The safety element prevents axial displacements of shafts or axles, and consists of a slotted ring. The ring is placed in a constricted area of the shaft, and supports itself on a surface surrounding the shaft. The support shaft (4) is located at an angle relative to the central line (5) of the shaft (1). Due to this, a wedge-shaped bearing space (6) is formed which can accommodate the ring (3).</p> |
