A hood made of panel-shaped material, with shanks adapted to roof slope, encloses the ridge from outside, in provision for covering roofs of buildings, esp. those made of straw. Ridge panels (11), located in the roof slope area, have a covering layer (27) of fibrous material on the outside, or have a fibrous-structured surface. The covering can consist of two half ridge panels (13,14) extending on both sides and meeting in the ridge area. They can be individually secured on the straw or reeds (12), or rafters (24). This can be easily but securely mounted, and is durable in severe weather, and aesthetically acceptable.
|
