Insulation for heat and/or noise is improved by building-in an additional window on the inside of an existing window. Use is made of a window wing (3), which has a peripheral sealing section (5) on its profile frame (4), when closed, pressed against, or into, an adjacent resilient mounting made of sealing material (7), e.g. polyurethane or polyester foam. This is held so as to turn and/or tilt on corner bearings (8, 8') adjustable vertically to the plane of the existing window. Each bearing can have a guiding block (9, 9'), adjustable in a guide rail (11,11') fixed in the window recess(10). This provides effective insulation at low cost, without changing the external appearance.
