In the method of manufacturing prestressed concrete sleepers on a prestressing bed, the form moulds, in which the prefabricated parts are moulded in production stations (A, B, C), are moved, after the compaction of the concrete of the respective prefabricated part, from one production station to the production station which follows in the direction of production. In this case, for manufacturing the prefabricated parts, in addition to the number of form moulds necessary for in each case one production operation in one production station, at least one further set of form moulds is used and the form mould (20) used for manufacturing the prefabricated part at the production station (C) lying at the rear in the direction of production is only freed from the latter and removed when the concrete of the prefabricated part which is being manufactured at the adjacent production station (B) is completely compacted and this form mould (20) is subsequently brought to the production station (A) which follows in the direction of production. As a result, it is brought about that, while the prefabricated part which in each case is the next to be manufactured is compacted by vibrating, the previously manufactured prefabricated part is not damaged by the vibrations which are conducted further in the prestressing wires, but that there is even an intensification of the bonding of the prestressing members (2) with the concrete surrounding them. <IMAGE>
