PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure particle distibution with a simple circuit and yet a high accuracy, by scattering comparative voltages of a plurality of comparing circuits equally to level voltage of an entire measuring range, and also by excecuting a steplike scanning. CONSTITUTION:Comparative voltages, which are scattered equally to level voltages of an entire measuring range from a reference voltage generating circuit 6 which generates voltage on a step-by-step basis, are given to a plurality of comparing circuits 2, respectively. Output pulses are given from a particle detecting device 1 to all the comparing circuits in parallel, outputs of the comparing circuits are counted 3 at every step and put into a temporary memory circuit 4. And then, an operating circuit 5 reads out content of the memory circuit upon every completion of measurement of 1 step and put into a memory 8 of exclusive use for read-out and a read-out and write-in memory 9. And, when measurements of all the steps are completed, the operating device 5 reads out contents of the memories 8 and 9 in turn and put them out to an output device 11. It is possible, by executing steplike scanning in this manner, to measure particle distribution with a simple circuit and yet a high accuracy. |
