<p>PURPOSE:To exactly detect an information mark, by placing a timing detection means at this side of an information detection means in the moving direction of a card, in a card reader for detecting an information mark of an entry area. CONSTITUTION:A timing detection means 6 which has been provided on the moving path of a card 1 is placed to this side of an information detection means 5 in the moving direction of the card 1, and a set signal is generated while relating to generation of a timing signal, an entry area 4 moves to a detecting position of the information detection means 5, and passes it through, so that the information can be utilized. According to this constitution, even if a timing mark 2 is shifted from the entry area 4 in the moving direction of a card, an information mark or an information hole is detected exactly, therefore, it is unnecessary to remake a card.</p> |
