PURPOSE:To enable to perform an accurate inspection of a printed matter for an insufficient printing, by a method wherein color bars, located at the end part of the printed matter, are photographed, and a photograph signal is projected on a television receiver. CONSTITUTION:Color bars 2-5, which act as a check mark corresponding to each printing color, are located at an end part of a printed matter 1 simultaneously with the printing. The pictures of the bars 2-5 are individually taken by means of a TV camera 6, and are projected on a television set 10 to adjust a position and size of each bar. The number of the color bars to be printed is then set at a setter 13 and a size between the color bars is set at a comparator 18. With the device operated, in case the number of the color bars is not correct, a wrong number signal is outputted, and in case the size between the color bars is not correct, a wrong size signal is outputted. Thus, it is determined that a printed matter is insufficient. |
