PURPOSE:To obtain stable image quality without temporal deterioration of a developer in a developing device by mixing a toner withdrawn from a photosensitive body with new toner in a toner box with a supply roll at a stated rate and by supplying it to a developing device. CONSTITUTION:On the upper part of a case 3 of a developing device 2 prepared on the peripheral part of a photosensitive body 1, a cleaning means 6 that removes a toner after used on the photosensitive body and a toner box 7 that accomodates a new toner for supply are divided and formed with a supply toner restricting plate 8 and a withdrawn toner restricting plate 9. Under it, a supply roll 10 like a sponge is prepared such that space t1 is provided between the restricting plate 9 and said roll and space t2 broader than t1 is provided between the restricting plate 8 and said roller and it rotates in the direction of an arrow a. Due to space t1, t2, a toner withdrawn by the cleaning roll 6 and new toner in th toner box 7 are mixed at a constant ratio and are made to fall. |
