PURPOSE:To eliminate troubles due to a collision of a rocking member by holding the rocking member by a holding means without play when no electric power is supplied to the rocking mirror driver of an electrophotographic copier. CONSTITUTION:The figures show the unlocked state and locked state of a rocking member such as a mirror 1. Since electric power is fed to one of an arc-shaped motor 5, an electromagnet 14 and a plunger 24 while an rocking mirror driver is transported, a connecting pin 18, i.e., base end sides of retaining members 16A and 16B are lifted by the retaining strength of a coil spring 21, and consequently the free ends of the members 16A and 16B are lowered to press against the top surface of the mirror 1 through a cushion 22. Therefore, the mirror 1 is held not to rock between a home position H and a return position R, so that an arm 4 is separated from the electromagnet 14 and a needle 7 is also separated from a stator 6. |
