PURPOSE:To avoid the playback picture from being caused of color shift due to mis-correction of white balance, by obtaining the correction signal of white balance of color signal demodulated from luminance signal or the like delayed by one 1H and the luminance signal itself. CONSTITUTION:In a color image sensor in which carrier chrominance signal Sc is obtained by using a color separation filter and the signal Sc and an index signal Si are separated by using a delay circuit, the correction signal S6 of white balance of demodulated color signal from the signal Sc is obtained with a luminance signal Sy and the luminance signal S1 delayed by 1H. For example, a vertical aperture correction signal S3 and a white balance correction signal S6 are formed by the luminance signal S1 delaying the luminance signal Sy by 1H and the luminance signal S2 delaying it further by 1H. |
