PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of use of a floppy disk by performing operating system processing by a hardware circuit. CONSTITUTION:When access from a main system is attained, a microcomputer (MC)3 discriminates first whether the flag of a storage element 4 is set or not. when the flag is set, the main system is informed of the state transition of a driver 1 and then the flag of the storage element 4 is set. When not, the MC3 refers to the flag of an index data storage element 5 to discriminate the propriety of the access from the main system. When it is not proper, erroneous access is reported to the main system to prevent the destruction of a file. |
