PURPOSE:To perform an operation for inspection and diagnosis of an automobile accurately, easily and speedily by reading inspection items stored according to the setting of the kind of inspection such as the model number of the car and one month according to specifications of the car and displaying them. CONSTITUTION:When the model number of the car set according to specifications of the car and the kind of inspection are inputted to an accepting device 3a for the model number of the car on an operation console 3 and a selecting device 3b for the kind of inspection, a CPU11 in the console 3 responds thereto. Further, required inspection items that have been stored in a memory circuit 13 for inspection items are read out successively, and displayed on a display device 5. The inspection results by a measuring device 2, etc., based on this display is recorded on a recording device 4 via a measuring circuit 15, the CPU11, etc. in the console 3, thereby allowing operations for various types of inspections and diagnoses of various types of cars to be done precisely, easily and speedily. |
