PURPOSE:To perform the uniform control of temp. over the entire gradation, by cutting a strobe signal over the width corresponding to the temp. of a recording head at a cycle of the unit current conduction time required in printing one gradation of gradation data. CONSTITUTION:An A/D converter 55 converts the temp. data from a temp. detection element Ts into a digital signal to apply the same to a comparator 57, but equally divides the output of the temp. detection element Ts when the temp. of a head is 20-40 deg.C into 256 segments and converts the temp. of the head to a 8-bit digital value up to 0-255 to output the same to a comparator 57. The comparator 57 compares the temp. data with the count value A outputted from a counter 56 and, at the time of A>B, comparing output is emitted to set a flip-flop 58 and a strobe timing signal is chopped by the opening and closing of the gate of an AND circuit 59. |
