Telephone cable connector - uses protective casing with polarising device and chamber to avoid friction between wires and clamp jaws

The device comprises a male connector fixed onto a printed circuit (8) and fitted with a locking component (10) a female connector (13) and a protecting casing (25) with a guiding rail in which several female connectors are juxtaposed. The protective casing (25) is made of an elastic material, and has a chamber (29) to hold the wires (31) in position and prevent friction between the wires and the jaws of the female connector clamp (15). The casing (25) also has a polarising device (37) which mechanically prevents misinsertion of the female connector (13). The polarising device (37) is fixed on one end of the casing (25) so that it strikes against the printed circuit (8) if the female connector (13) is inverted.
