<p>The unit is intended for heating and ventilating the driver cab (10,11,13) of a tractor or the like. It comprises a housing (16,23,18,24,19) containing a chamber (25) with inlet (17) for recirculated and/or fresh air with a fan (42). A heat exchanger (22), may be connected to the engine cooling circuit, and a distributor chamber (33,37) with air outlets (34,35,40) is included. The distributor chamber consists of two compartments separated by an adjustable damper (36), whilst a further thermostat (31) controlled, adjustable damper (27) regulates the proportions of air admitted from the chamber to the heat exchanger inlet chamber (32) and to one compartment (37) of the distributor chamber respectively.</p> |
