An igniter, which can be used for gas combustion aquipment, is simple in its structure and maintenance-free in its use. According to this invention there is no spring-plate for ignition. The device comprises a cam piece(11), a driving plate(12), a slit(8), an actuating plate(3) an a hammer(6) connected to a coil-spring on the substrate(1).
