PURPOSE:To enable high speed reciprocation of a reciprocation part, by using the reciprocation part consisting only of a slider, an oscillator held by the slider, and a light quantity-checking element in order to lessen inertia. CONSTITUTION:When scanning of an original 1 is finished, an exposure lamp 9 is turned off, a slider 6 is rapidly returned to the initial position, and a reflective mirror 10 follows an oscillator 12 on the slider, and turns to the initial position. At that time, the reciprocating part in the exposing unit is the slider 6 which carries very light bodies, such as a light quantity-checking element 11 and the oscillator 12, permitting reciprocation speed to be raised. |
