<p>The panel (3) heated by solar radiation, to supply hot water for a caravan, is also aerodynamically shaped so that it can be mounted on the roof of the vehicle pulling the caravan, during travel. It is a plastics moulding with a hollow interior with two connections (7,8) in diagonally opposite corners, underneath, for connecting supply and return pipes. Its surface is reinforced by parallel ribs (4) running from front to rear. When the vehicles are stationary, the panel can be placed on a surface at a suitable angle for maximum heat transfer to the water inside. Flexible plastics tubes can be connected to a container used as a hot water source.</p> |
