PURPOSE:To improve the compactness of a camera by making the rear lens of a photographing lens system movable in an optical axis direction, and stopping the same by the focusing signal from a distance measuring system thereby obtaining focusing. CONSTITUTION:A rear lens control spring 12 and a shutter control spring 13 are charged by the rotation of a rear lens rotating ring 6 and a shutter set ring 7, whereby the ring 6 is set in the state of infinity or a closed focusing distance. When a release operation is made in photographing, a distance measuring system 18 operates, and first the detention of the ring 6 is released, and begins to be rotated clockwise by the energy released by the spring 12. Thence, when a magnet 20 is energized by the focusing signal from the system 18, the detaining pawl 16 of a focus setting lever 17 is jumped into the ratchet part 15 of the ring 6 by the repulsive force thereof, and in that position, the ring 6 is stopped and focusing is obtained. |
