The pallet is supplied with a wood or metal base fitted with a metal frame comprising an upper frame with vertical corner supports (1). The corner supports can be stepped into the pallet by triangular wedges (2) which are inserted in between the upright and the corner bracket (3). The triangular piece (2) is welded to the exterior corner of the vertical support (1) in a position to match the edge of the support. The triangular piece prevents the upright from passing through the bracket. The top of the upright corner is cut away in a Vee.
