The method for separating plastic materials in a granular mass which differ only slightly in their relative density is characterised in that the mass is fed to a pulveriser at the brittleness temperature of the plastic fraction having the lower brittleness temperature, the pulverised material is sieved and the sieved material is fed separately according to grain size to an agglomerator.
