PURPOSE:To make a cooler that also serves as a dehumidifier respond efficiently to indoor and outdoor temperatures and humidities, by providing a rotary filter that performs dust removing and cooling by water, and dividing the inside of the cooler into four air passage compartments. CONSTITUTION:The inside of the cooler body is divided into the four air passage compartments, i.e. A, B, C and D. The air flowed from an indoor duct 11 is divided into two streams. One of the streams passes through the compartment C, is cooled by water of the rotary filter 9 and is exhausted via a heat exchange element 4 and a condenser 6. The other is permitted to flow into the compartment D, is subjected to heat exchange with the former cooled stream, is cooled by an evaporator 5 of a refrigerating cycle, and is introduced into the interior of the room. When it is low temperature or high humidity, the rotary filter is stopped. When it is at low temperature, a front shutter 27 is moved upward, a rear shutter 25 is closed, and the warmed air in the compartment B is blown out from the front side. Thus, by switching the air passages, the arrangement can respond to various situations. |
