The arrangement is claimed to produce a multiplication of torque between an input pulley and a co-axial output pulley. These two pulleys are each integral with a coupling disc and a shaft is freely rotatable in two blind central bores in these discs. Between the two coupling discs, this shaft carries five freely rotatable transmission discs. The input coupling disc is connected to the first transmission disc by an axial pin arranged at large radius, this first disc to the second by a pin at small radius and so further by pins at alternate large and small radius, the last pin connecting to the output coupling disc. A multiplication of minimum 8 times, maximum 27 times is achieved.
