The rigid shoe-sole has a heel rest (10) in the upper surface defining a concave trough, the depth of which is smaller than the natural heel contour. The front portion of the toe area (13) of the sole is higher than the shoe heel rest. The ball area (12) rises at the front to form the toe area and a line (16) connecting the lowest point (27) of the trough of the ball area to the highest point (28) of the arch of the sole forms an angle of between 8 and 12 degrees with the tangent (15) to this highest point. The tangent lies parallel to the flat portion of the outsole (3') which lies in the plane of the outsole heel portion. The line (16a) connecting the front end portion of the toe area with the lewest point in the ball area forms an angle of between 15 and 20 degrees pref. 17.5 degrees with the tangent.
|
